This type of Question are inversely proportional. So we have

10:8::x:1/2

Here we will take. product of ratios = product of second ratio.
That is
$10 \times 8 = x \times \frac{1}{2} \\ = > x = \frac{10 \times 8}{ \frac{1}{2} } \\ x = 10 \times 8 \times 2 \\ x = 160$
160 men are needed
