10 people can do the job in 20 days

⇒ 1 person will need 10 x 20 = 200 days

⇒ 1 day = 1/200 of the work

If a person is twice as efficient:

1 day = 1/200 x 2 = 1/100 of the work

Find the number of days needed for 20 people:

1 person = 1/100 of the work

20 people = 1/100 x 20 = 1/5 of the work

1/5 of the work = 1 day

5/5 of the work = 1 x 5 = 5 days

Answer: The 20 people will need 5 days to complete the work
