if 100 grams of Almonds cost rupees 72 and 1 kg of cashew nut cost rupees 480 find the ratio of the cost of Almonds to the cost of cashew nuts

Cost of 100 grams of almond = Rs. 72
Cost of 1kg = 1000 grams of cashew nut = Rs. 480

Cost of almonds per gram = 72/100 = Rs. 18/25
Cost of cashew nuts per gram = 480/1000 = Rs. 24/5

Ratio of the cost of almonds to that of cashew nuts = ( 18/25 ) / ( 24/5 )
                                                                                  = 3 : 2 ( Ans )
