Given :

F = 1000 N

a = 5 m/s²

We know that,

★ F = m × a

⇒ 1000 = m × 5

⇒ m = 1000 / 5

⇒ m = 200 kg

Answer:

The weight of object is 1962N

Explanation:

Given that,

Force required to accelerate the object=1000N

Acceleration produced is

5ms {}^{ - 2}

According to Newton's Second law of motion,

Force is the product of mass and acceleration.

Therefore,

F = m.a

Substituting known values,we get

1000 = m \times 5 \\  =  >  m = 200kg

Mass is known,hence weight can be found using relation

W=mg \\  =  =  > W  = 200 \times 9.81 = 1962N

Therefore the weight of object is 1962N
