If 10000 j of work is done by a machine to lift a load through a height of 10 m,calculate the weight of the load lifted?

Work=Force.displacement

Assuming the force to constant we get force=1000N

If the load covers 10m vertically then the force on it will be due to gravity downwards(weight) and the force applied by the machine upwards

hence we get the weight of the load to be 1000kg(by equating the force applied by the machine and due to gravity)
