As per given condition :-

(x - 12) \times 6 = 21 \\  \\ 6x - 72 = 21 \\  \\ 6x = 21 + 72 \\  \\ 6x = 93 \\  \\ x =  \frac{93}{6}  \\  \\ x =  \frac{31}{2}  \:  \:  \:  \: or \:  \:  \: 15.5
