if 12 men and 6 boys can do a piece of work in 5 days and 13 men and 24 boys can do it in 4 days how long will 7 men and 10 boys take to do it?? please answer it step by step and clearly.......

Let the number of men be x
the number of boys be y
According to the problem,
12x+6y=5 and
13x+24y=4
Solve for both the equations by using elimination,Substitution or any other method.
Using elimination method,
(12x+6y=5)13
(13x+24y=4)12
----------------------
0-210y=+17
y=-17/210
and x=11/24
So,7men 10 boys=?
7x+10y=7(11/24)+10(-17/210)
=1209/504
403/168
So,7 men and 10 boys will do the work in 403/504 days.
