 \LARGE{ \underline{\underline{ \orange{ \sf{Required \: answer:}}}}}

Here the numbers are coded for some words and we need to determine that which number is coded for hot.

  • 1 2 3 = Filter hot coffee

  • 3 5 6 = Very hot day

Clearly, The word hot is common in both the codes combined. And the integer representation common is 3. Hence the code for hot is 3 (Answer✓)

  • This is a question of Coding-Decoding in Reasoning. Where different types of codes are included like alphabets, symbols etc.

  • First of all, Read the codes carefully and jot down the codes.

  • Try eliminating the not required codes to get what we actually required. Like in the above question.

  • This can be achieved by practice because similar types of codes can't be used everywhere.
