Hi Friend ✋✋✋

12x + 13y = 29 .......(1) × 13

13x + 12y = 21 ........(2) ×12

(1) - (2)

156x + 169y = 377
156x + 144y =252
------------------------
25y = 125

y = 5

in (1)

12x = 29 - 65

x = - 3

x + y = - 3 + 5

= 2

Hope it helps

Answer: x=5

y=-3

Step-by-step explanation:

12x+13y°29

Equation 1

13x+12y=21

Equation 2

Add 2 and 1

25x+25y=50

Simplify it with common number for this whole equation

We get ,

x+y=2

Equation 3

Subtract 1 and 2

x-y=8

Equation 4

Solve 3 and 4 equations

We get,

2x=10

x=5

Apply it in any equation

I am applying in equation 2

We get ,

x-y = 8

5-y=8

5-8=y

y=-3

☺ I HOPE IT IS HELPFUL ☺
