If 13sino = 5 , find the value of tano + 1/coso ??​

Answer:

sinA=5/13

draw a triangle with perpendicular as 5x and hypotenuse as 13x

Now base will be 12x

find value of tanA and secA

add those values and you will get the answer

sshatakshi19052007: thanks but I think base will be 144x because when by Pythagoras theorem we'll find the base then squres will get cancel... b^2= (13x)^2 - (5x)^2, b^2 = 169x^2 - 25x^2, b^2= 144x^2 ,, b= √(144x^2) , then square and root would cancelled..right..?? then base will be , b=144x....please tell..
MasterM: 144 is the square of 12 we will take out square root of both the number and the variable because you can also write it as √144×√x^2
MasterM: and also base can never be bigger than hypotenuse
