Answer :-

The new temperature must be 621°C or 894 K .

Explanation :-

We have :-

→ Initial volume of Neon (V₁) = 15 L

→ Initial temperature (T₁) = 25°C

→ Final volume (V₂) = 45 L

________________________________

Firstly, let's convert the unit of initial temperature from °C to K.

⇒ 0°C = 273 K

⇒ 25°C = 273 + 25

⇒ 298 K

Now, according to Charle's Law :-

V₁/T₁ = V₂/T₂ [Contant Pressure]

Substituting values, we get :-

⇒ 15/298 = 45/T₂

⇒ T₂ = 298 × 45/15

⇒ T₂ = 298 × 3

⇒ T₂ = 894 K

Required temperature in °C :-

= 894 - 273

= 621°C

Answer:

Given :-

If 15.0 liters of neon at 25.0 °C is allowed to expand to 45.0 liters

To Find :-

New temperature

Solution :-

We know that

0⁰ C = 273⁰ K

Volume/Temperature = Volume/Temperature

15/298 = 45/T

15 × T = 45 × 298

15T = 13,410

T = 13410/15

T = 894⁰ K

Now

0⁰ C = 273⁰ K

894⁰ K = 894 - 273 = 621⁰ C
