So,

→ 28% of 650 - 15% of x = 38

→ [ 28*650/100) - (15x/100) = 38

Taking 100 as LCM ,

→ (28*650 - 15x) / 100 = 38

→ 28*650 - 15x = 3800

→ 15x = 18200 - 3800

→ 15x = 14400

Dividing both sides by 15 now,

→ x = 960

Hence, The required Number is 960 .
