if 15 people can repair a road of length 150 meters,how many people are needed to repair a road of length 420 meters?

15 people can repair 150 m road 1 people can repair=150÷15=10 means 1 person can repair 10 m road then 420 m road is repaired by 420÷10=42 people steps

Assuming that each person can repair equal lengths we can say that 150/15 = 10 meters/people is the ability of one person. So to repair a rod of length 420 meters, 42 persons would be required.

The method that we used here is called 'unitary method'.
For eg. if one person can eat 5 chocolates per day then how many people are required to finish 25 chocolates in a day? It's simple, isn't it?
