if 15z7 is a multiple of 3 where 'z' is a digit , find the value of z​

Answer:

acc. to divisibility rule of 3

sum of digits should be the multiple of 3

therefore, we have 15Z7

1+5+Z+7= 13+Z

to make it multiple of 3 it should also come in table of 3

so after 13 it can be nearest to 15

15-13=Z

2=Z

hence answer is 2

The divisibilty rule of three is if the sum of digits is divisible by three then the number of divisible by three

It is given the 15z7 is divisible by three.this means that 1+5+z+7 is divisible by three

that is 13+z is divisible by three.

So considering all digits from 0 to 9 the following can be the values of z

13+2=15 which is divisible by three

13+5=18 which is divisible by three

13+8=21 which is divisible by three
