Solution :

Let the number = x

Given ,

16 2/3 % of x = 25

=> ( 50/3 )% × x = 25

=> ( 50/300 ) × x = 25

=> x = ( 25 × 300 )/50

=> x = 25 × 6

=> x = 150

Therefore ,

Required number ( x ) = 150
