If 16 shirts of equal size can be made out of 24m of cloth,how many cloth is needed for making one shirt?

Must be done by equation process who ever wins will get 20 points and I will make as brainiest and follow like share...everything but give me correct answer....please do it fast

Given , 

 No. of shirts = 16 

 total cloth needed to stitch one shirt = 24m

 Let , cloth required for one shirt be (x)

As 

one shirt = total no.of shirts /total cloth

(x) = 16/24

(x) = 2/3

i.e  one shirt requires 2/3 m cloth
