 \bf \red{given}

16, y, y, 81 are in proportion

To find out :

the value of y

solutions:

 \frac{16}{y}  =  \frac{y}{81}

y {}^{2}  = 81\times 16

y {}^{2}  = 1296

y =  \sqrt{1296}

y = 36

16 : y : y : 81

product of mean × product of extreme

y × y = 81 × 16..

y² = 1296

y= √1296

y = 36..

thanks for the answer please
