if 17 th term of an A.P exceeds its 10 term by 14 then the common difference is ?​

Let us take the first term as a then nth term is a+(n-1)d So 10th term is a+9d and 17th term is a+16d , the difference is (a+16d)-(a+9d)=>7d=14 =>d=2. Common difference is 2.Hope it helps you.
