if √18-6√5=√a-√b then prove that a+b=18

√18 - 6√5  = √a - √b  given
Squaring both sides,

18 + 36*5 - 2* 6 *√90 = a + b - 2 √(ab)

Compare the rational and irrational parts on both sides:
       a+b = 18      and   ab = 36 * 90
