The value of 2a-b=15

Step-by-step explanation:

Given :  If 18,a,(b-3) are in the A.P.

To find : The value of (2a-b) ?

Solution :

In an A.P. the difference between two consecutive terms is same.

The first term is a_1=18

The second term is a_2=a

The third term is a_3=b-3

So, a_2-a_1=a_3-a_2

a-18=b-3-a

a+a-b=-3+18

2a-b=15

Therefore, the value of 2a-b=15
