If 18 men and 10 boys can do in a day as much as 10 men and 22 boys, how much should a man be paid a day if a boy is to get rs. 5 a day?

let work done by one man = x 
and that of a boy = y

18x + 10y = 10x + 22y
8x = 12y
x = 12y/8
x = 3y/2

and if a boy is paid RS. 5
x = 3/2  * 5
   = 15/2
