19/-5+ [-3/11+(-7/8)]=[19/-5+(a/b)]+ (-7/8)

 -  \frac{19}{5} + [- \frac{3}{11} +(- \frac{7}{8} )]=[ -  \frac{19}{5} +( \frac{a}{b} )]+ (- \frac{7}{8} )

  • cancelling similar values on both sides , we get

 \frac{a}{b}  =  -  \frac{3}{11}

Answer = ( - 3 / 11 )
