Given:

Energy=196\times 10^2 J

Mass of boy,m=20 kg

g=9.8ms^{-2}

To find :

Height raised from the ground

Solution:

We know that

P.E=mgh

Where m=Mass of body

h=Height of body

g=Acceleration due to gravity

Using the formula

196\times 10^{2}=20\times 9.8 h

h=\frac{196\times 10^{2}}{20\times 9.8}

h=100 m

Hence, height of boy above the ground raised =100m
