If 1st january, 2003 is wednesday, then 31st december, 2004 will be?

shebin4: I dont think that the answer is friday.I think the answer is "Wednesday" itself, because if you look at the calender, you will be able to find that "In every consecutive year the day of a specfic date will become the next day.For example:Today Nov 28,2018 its tuesday.Nov 29,2019 will be wednesday. So If jan 1 ,2003 is wednesday then jan 1,2004 will be thrusday, one day back is 31 dec,2003 will be wednesday.I think this is correct,if wrong please correct it

Given,

1st January 2003 is Wednesday

To find,

31st December 2004 will be

Solution,

According to the calendar calculation method, the same date after 1 year will be the next day as the previous one.

For example, if 1st January 2002 is Monday then 1st January 2003 will be Tuesday.

Therefore,

1st January 2003 = Wednesday

and 31st December 2003 = Wednesday

So 1st January 2004 will be Thursday

and 31st December 2004 will be Thursday

but 2004 is a leap year i.e., 1 day extra in February

Therefore 31st December will be Friday not Thursday

Hence, 31st December 2004 is Friday
