Given :- if 1st January of a non-leap year is Monday then 1st April of the same year will be ?

Solution :-

→ 1 jan to 1 April = 30(Jan left days ) + 28(feb since non leap year) + 31(march) + 1(april) = 30 + 28 + 31 + 1 = 90 days .

then,

Given :   1st January of a year is Monday

To Find : 1st April of the same year

Solution:

1st January of a year is Monday

1st April of the same year   will depend upon leap or non leap year

Non leap year

31 days in January

28 days in February

31 days in March

Total Days =  90  to reach 1st April

Hence 90 = 12 * 7 +  6  or 13 * 7   - 1

so 1st April will  be  SUNDAY

Leap year

31 days in January

29 days in February

31 days in March

Total Days =  91  to reach 1st April

Hence 90 = 13 * 7

so 1st April will  be  MONDAY

1st January of a year is Monday  then  1st April of the same year   is  SUNDAY ( no leap year ) and MONDAY ( leap Year )
