(2,1) and (2,5) are opposite corners of a square.

By distance formula , distance between these two points is
4

(Both x-coordinates are same. So, distance is difference between y-coordinates)

So, length of diagonal is 4.

Let length of side of square be l.

Then, by Pythagoras Theorem,

l^2 + l^2 = 4^2

So, l = 4/√2

So , l = 2√2

Thus, length of side of square is 2√2
