The correct answer is -1.

Given: Point which lies on graph = (√2, -√2).

Equation of graph = 4x-3ay=√2.

To Find: The value of a.

Solution:

If the point lies on graph then it should satisfy the equation of graph.

Put  (√2, -√2) in the equation 4x-3ay=√2.

4(\sqrt{2} )-3a(-\sqrt{2} )=\sqrt{2}

4(\sqrt{2} )+3a\sqrt{2} =\sqrt{2}

4\sqrt{2} -\sqrt{2}=-3a\sqrt{2}

3\sqrt{2} =-3a\sqrt{2}

a = -1

Hence, the value of a is -1.
