Hi there!

The logic used here is:

(2+3)^2 -1 = 24

(3+4)^2 - 1 = 48

(7+9)^2 - 1 = 255

(1+3)^2 - 1 = 15

I think your options are-

a) 4 % 5 = 82

b) 9 % 2 = 122

c) 3 % 5 = 163

d) 9 % 3 = 143

Using this logic, options c and d are correct.

Given: 2%3=24,3%4=48,7%9=255 and 1%3=15.

To find: We have to find the next term.

Solution:

The given series is 2%3=24,3%4=48,7%9=255 and 1%3=15.

This series follows a specific pattern which is as follows-

 {(2 + 3)}^{2} - 1 = 24 \\ {(3 + 4)}^{2} - 1 = 48 \\ {(7 + 9)}^{2} - 1 = 255 \\ {(1 + 3)}^{2} - 1 = 15

Thus if we add the numbers and substrate one from the square of the sum we will get the right pattern.

Thus the next terms will be-

 {(5 + 6)}^{2} - 1 = 120 \\ {(7 + 8)}^{2} - 1 = 224
