subtute. x=2/3

a(2/3)^2 + 7(2/3) + b=0

a(4/9) +14/3 +. b =0

4a/9 + b= -14/3............(1)

now subtute x= -34

a(-3) ^2 + 7(-3) + b =0

9a - 21 +b =0

9a + b =21..........(2)

from 1 and 2.

4a/9 + b. = -14/3

9a + b =21

-. -. -.

____________

4a-81/9. =-77/3

4a-81 = - 77/3 ×9

4a-81 = -231

4a = -231 + 81

4a = -150

a =-150/4

a =- 37.5

substute. a=-37.5. in eq 2

so ,

9a + b =21

9×-37.5 + b = 21

-337.5 +b =21

b = 21 + 337.5

b =358.5
