Step-by-step explanation:

Since the given values are zeroes of the equation, substitute each of these values in place of x to make the equation zero

by placing 2/3 in the equation, we get

a(2/3)²+7(2/3)+b=0

4a+42+9b=0----(1)

by placing -3 in the equation we get

a(-3)²+7(-3)+b=0

9a-21+b=0----(2)

solving (1) and (2), we get a =3 and b= -6
