LET,

THE NUMBER BE X

2/3 OF NUMBER = 2X/3

3/5 OF NUMBER = 3X/5

ACCORDING TO THE PROBLEM,

2X/3 = 3X/5 + 1

2X/3 - 3X/5 = 1

(10X - 9X)/15 =1

X = 15
