Let the number be :- x

According to question,

$\frac{2}{3} \times x = x - 30$

$x = \frac{x - 30}{ \frac{2}{3} }$

$x = \frac{3(x - 30)}{2}$

$x = \frac{3x - 90}{2}$

$2x = 3x - 90$

$3x - 2x = 90$

$x = 90$

Hence the number is 90.
