Let the number be x .
Therefore, 2/3 of x = 3+1/5+1x .
2x /3= 3+1 x /5+1
By cross multiplication method we have,
10x +2x =9x + 9
12x =9x + 9
12x - 9x = 9
3x = 9
x = 9/3
x = 3
Therefore, the number is 3.

Hey

Here is your answer,

Let the unknown number be x.

2/3)x - (3/5)x=1

2x/3-3x/5=1

10x/15-9x/15 = 1

(10x-9x)/15=1

1x=15

x=15

The number is 15.

Hope it helps you!
