The other point of the diameter is (4, 4).

Given,

One of the extremities of the diameter of a circle → (2, 6)

Centre of the circle → (3, 5)

To Find,

The other point of the diameter

Solution,

Let the other point be (a, b)

We know, that the diameter passes through the centre of the circle joining two ends of it

Thus, it can be said that the distance between the two extremities of the diameter from the centre will be equal

Hence the centre is the midpoint of the diameter

3 = \frac{2+a}{2}; 5 = \frac{6+b}{2}

6 = 2 + a; 10 = 6 + b

a = 4; b = 4

Thus, the other point is (4, 4).
