Answer:

X = ± ¡

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that :

-2/7 , X , 7/2 are in GP.

we have to find X = ?

Solution :-

We know that

By the property of Geometric progression (GP)

if a ,b, c are in GP then;

b² = a × c

here,

a = -2/7 , b= X and C = 7/2

Using Formula

=> X² = (-2/7) × (7/2)

=> X² = -1

=> X = ±√(-1)

=>X = ±¡ .......... [ ¡ = √(-1) ,where ¡ Is iota ]

Hence,

X = ± ¡ Answer

Hope it helps... :-)
