Let polynomial be f(x)= 2x^3 -5x^2 + ax + b

Substitute x = 2 In Polynomial ;

f(x) = 2x^3 -5x^2 + ax + b

2(2)^3 -5(2)^2 + a(2)+ b = 0

2(8) - 5(4) + 2a + b = 0

16 - 20 + 2a + b = 0

2a + b = 4 ------(1)

Now, Substitute x = 2 In Polynomial ;

f(x) = 2x^3 -5x^2 + ax + b

=] 2(0)^3 - 5(0)^2 + 2a + b = 0

2a + b = 0 --------(2)

Now, Solving Equation 1 and 2 ;

2a + b = 4 ------(1)

2a + b = 0 --------(2)

So, Value of b and a are 2 and 1 respectively:
