Answer:

The zeroes of a polynomial can be used to find the factors of the polynomial.

The zeroes in this question are 2 and -2, therefore the polynomial can be factored out

p(x) = p(x-2)(x+2)+4

Factorising this out,

p(x) = px^2 - 4px + 4q

Comparing the coefficients on both sides of the equation,

p=1 and q=1.
