Answer:

given , -2 and 3 are zeroes of x2 + (a+1)x +b

if -2 and 3 are zeroes then p(-2) = 0 and p(3) = 0

p(-2) = 4 + (a+1)(-2) +b = 0

= 4 -2a -2 +b = 0

= 2-2a+b = 0

= a = (b+2)/2

p(3) = 9 + (a+1)3 + b = 0

= 9+3a+3+b = 0

= 12+3a+b = 0

= 12 + 3(b+2)/2 +b = 0

= 12+3/2b+3+b =0

= 5/2b = -15

= b = -6

a = b+2 /2 = -2

a = -2 , b = -6
