One mole of Di-nitrogen gas (N₂) reacts with 3 moles of Magesium

which means, 28g of di-nitrogen reacts with 72g of Mg

So, no. of moles of N₂ in 186g = 186/28 = 6.64 moles

no. of moles of magnesium required = 6.64 x 3 = 19.92 moles

Molar mass of Mg = 24

Weight of Mg theat reacts with 186g of N = 19.92 x 24 = 478.08 g
