let the fraction be p/q
then,
         (p+2)/q = 1/2
         2p + 4 =q
and  p/(q-1)=1/3
       3p =q-1
        q=3p+1
So
     2p+4 = 3p+1 ;
     4 -1 = 3p-2p;
     p=3
    q= 3*3 +1 =10
Therefore p=3 and q=10
So the fraction is 3/10

Answer:

3/10

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the fraction be x/y

X+2/y=1/2

2x+4=y

2x-y=-4--------(1)

X/y-1=1/3

3x=y-1

3x-y=-1----------(2)

3x-y=-1

2x-y=-4

X=3

3(3)-y=-1

-y=-10

Y=10
