Hey mate,

According to the question the 2 is zero of a polynomial

Let p(x)=3x²+4x+2k

According to the remainder theorem when any number is a zero of a polynomial is 0(x) then equate the value x is 2

p(2)= 3*-2²+4*-2+2k

3*4-8+2k

4+2k

To find the value of k equate the polynomial p(x) to 0

p(2)=4+2k=0

2k=-4

k=-2
