Given info : 2 is a zero of polynomial P(x) = kx² + (3k - 2)x + k.

To find : The value of k.

solution : if 2 is a zero of polynomial P(x) = kx² + (3k - 2)x + k, 2 must satisfy the equation kx² + (3k -2)x + k = 0.

i.e., k(2)² + (3k - 2)(2) + k = 0

⇒4k + 6k - 4 + k = 0

⇒11k - 4 = 0

⇒k = 4/11

Therefore the value of k is 4/11.
