given polynomial 3x²+4x+2k

given -2 is a zero of given polynomial

in this polynomial sum of zeroes = -b/a = 4/3

that is -2+x = 4/3

              x    = 4/3+2

              x    = 10/3

therefore the other zero of the polynomial is 10/3

product of zeroes = c/a = 2k/3

              10/3 × -2    = 2k/3

              -20/3          = 2k/3

                      -20   = 2k

       and            k    = -10
