Given that, 2 is a zero of the polynomial.

=> x² + 3x + k = 0, if x = 2

Substituting 2 in the above equation, we get,

=> 2² + 3 ( 2 ) + k = 0

=> 4 + 6 + k = 10

=> 10 + k = 0

=> k = - 10

Hence the value of k is ( - 10 ).

Hence solved !
