By mid point both points divide in 1:1
p=11×1+(-5)×1/1+1
p=11-5/2
p=6/2
p=3

\underline\mathfrak{Given:-}

  • \: \: \: \: \: \: \: {p} \: {({2} \: , \: {p})} \: \: is \: \: the \: \: mid \: \: point \: \: of \: \: line \: \: segment \: \: AB.
  • \: \: \: \: \: \: \: {A} \: {({6} \: , \: {-5})}
  • \: \: \: \: \: \: \: {B} \: {({-2} \: , \: {11})}

\underline\mathfrak{To \: \: Find:-}

  • \: \: \: \: \: find \: \: the \: \: value \: \: of \: \: P  \: ?

\underline\mathfrak{Solutions:-}

  • \: \: \: \: {x} \: \: = \: \: {2} \: \: \: \: {y} \: \: = \: \ {p}
  • \: \: \: \: {x_1} \: \: = \: \: {6} \: \: \: \: {y_1} \: \: = \: \ {-5}
  • \: \: \: \: {x_2} \: \: = \: \: {-2} \: \: \: \: {y_2} \: \: = \: \ {11}

\: \: \: \: \: \: \: \therefore \: Mid \: point \: \: formula

  • \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \frac{{x_{1}} \: + \: \: {x_{2}}}{2} \: \: \: \: \: \frac{{y_{1}} \: + \: \: {y_{2}}}{2}

\: \: \: \: \: \: \: p \: \: = \: \:  \frac{{y_{1}} \: + \: \: {y_2}}{2}

\: \: \: \: \: \: \: \leadsto  \: \: {p} \: \: = \: \ \frac{{-5} \: + \: {11}}{2}

\: \: \: \: \: \: \: \leadsto \: {p} \: \: = \: \: \frac{6}{2}

\: \: \: \: \: \: \: \leadsto \: {p} \: \: = \: \: {3}

  • \: \: \: \: \: \: \: So, \: \: The \: \: value \: \: of \: \: p \: \: is \: \: {3}.
