if 2 parallel lines are cut by a transversal, prove that the bisectors of the interior angles on the same side of the transversal intersect each other at right angles..

to proove : <3 = 90
_______

<BMN + <DNM = 180 ( sum of co- interior angles is 180)

•dividing both sides by 1/2

1/2 (<BMN + <DNM ) = 180/2

<PMN + <PNM = 90

<1 +<2 = 90.........(.1)

In ∆ PNM

<1 + <2 + <3 = 180 ......(2)

from (1 )and (2)

90 + <3 = 180

<3 = 90
