2sinθ - cosθ = 1sinθ + cosθ

2sinθ - 1sinθ = cosθ + cosθ

sinθ = 2cosθ

 \dfrac{sinθ }{cosθ} = 2

 \dfrac{cosθ }{sinθ} =  \dfrac {1}{2}

\therefore~ cot \theta =  \dfrac{1}{2}
