GIVEN THAT :–
=》 Sin x = √3/2
=》 x = 60⁰
To find :–
(1) 4 sin³ x - 3 sin x
(2) 3 cos x - 4 cos³ x
SOLUTION :–
(1) WE KNOW THAT –
sin (3x) = 3 sin x - 4 sin³ x
so , that –
=> 4 sin³ x - 3 sin x = - sin ( 3x )
= - sin (3x)
= - sin (3 × 60⁰)
= - sin (180⁰)
= 0
(2) we know that –
cos (3x) = 4 cos³ (x) - 3 cos (x)
so , that –
=> 3 cos x - 4 cos³ x = - cos(3x)
= - cos (3x)
= - cos ( 3 × 60⁰)
= - cos (180⁰)
= -(-1)
= 1
