Let one angle be 2x and other be 7x
We know sum of supplementary angles are 180
A.T.Q
2x+7x =180
9x =180
x =180/9
x =20
So first angle = 2x that is 2 ×20 =40
2nd angle =7x that is 7 ×20 =140

let \: the \: two \: supplementary \: angles \: \: are \: in \: the \: ratio \: be \: x \\ first \: angles \: = 2x \\ second \: angles \: = 7x \\ 2x + 7x = 180 \: \: (if \: the \: sum \: of \: supplementary \: angles  is 180 \: degree) \\ 9x = 180 \\ x = \frac{180}{9} \\ x = 20 \: degree \\ first \: angles = 2x = 2 \times 20 = 40 \: degree \\ second \: angle = 7x = 7 \times 20 = 140 \: degree
