If 2 vectors 6N and 8N are act at a point at an angle of 90 with each other.Determine the magnitude and direction of the resultant by drawing a vector diagram and by analatical method.

Magnitude is given by.

f \: net =  \sqrt{f1 {}^{2}  + f2 {}^{2} }

 =  \sqrt{6 {}^{2}  + 8 {}^{2} }

 \sqrt{100}  = 10

Hence resultant force is 10N.

Since they both are perpendicular to each other ..
√6 square +8squre
I.e √100 = 10
